"No resource found that matches the given name (at ‘drawable’ with value *)" or "Failed to crunch file"

The most common cause of this error is that the path to your project is too long.

E.g. if you’re currently storing/running your project on a folder in your desktop, the path to an image in your project is:

C:/users/you/desktop/New Folder/project/app/res/drawable/common_signin_btn_icon_disabled_focus_dark.png

Which is simply to long. So move up your project (e.g. to the root of your pc) to fix this:

C:/project/app/res/drawable/common_signin_btn_icon_disabled_focus_dark.png

If this fix does not work, make sure to also remove the Google Play Services project to your root.
